Michael has spent almost his entire career within the Group starting as a Sales Negotiator for Romans in 2006 and rising to National Lettings MD in 2018, then Group Managing Director in 2022 before taking on his current role as Chief Executive Officer in January 2024.

As a member of both RICS and ARLA, Michael has a broad experience across Sales, Lettings, Property Management, Acquisitions and the Group’s Corporate portfolios. He was also the catalyst in establishing the Group’s central Contact Centre and took a lead role in the merger of Leaders and Romans in 2016 and the Groups subsequent sale to Platinum Equity in 2022.

As CEO, Michael is responsible for overseeing the Group’s continued plan to grow its national branch network and develop its range of services for the benefit of new and existing clients. Michael works closely with the business’ key stakeholders to help develop and implement the overarching business strategy.

Michael lives in Long Sutton with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys keeping active and participates in a number of sports. He is a member of his local running club and enjoys competing in a range of organised events, as well as just exploring new routes and trails locally.
