LRG Appoints Regional Property Directors

August 29, 2023 PR Officer

Leaders Romans Group (LRG) has made three internal promotions at a senior level within its Property Management team.

Karen Shepherd, George Cartwright and Natalie Springer are all promoted from Regional Manager to Regional Director.

Karen Shepherd is currently a Regional Manager (Property Management) in LRG’s head office. She oversees property management for Romans, Gibbs Gillespie and Moginie James across the South East, London, Swindon, Bristol and Wales,  overseeing 88 members of staff.

Karen had worked for John Mortimer since 2007 and the company was acquired by Romans in 2013. From Property Manager, she was promoted to Area Manager, Regional Manager and most recently Regional Director.

George Cartwright was an apprentice at IMS Lettings, which was acquired by Leaders in 2016. Over nine years, George has been promoted no fewer than eight times. His roles have included maintenance, inspections, home guide, valuations, re-lets, renewals and property management. George has been in management since the age of 21, when he headed up the Inspections Department for Leaders branches within Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. He is based at LRG’s Pride Park office in Derby.

As a regional director in the Property Management team, George will oversee 15 branches across Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire and Warwickshire, providing high standards of customer service and property maintenance for both landlords and tenants.

Natalie Springer joined LRG in March 2022 as a regional manager in the Property Management division. The wide area for which she is responsible extends from Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Prior to joining LRG, Natalie was an area property manager for an independent agent in Oxford. Before that, she worked as both a sales manager and Head of Property Management in Savills’ Barbados office.

Commenting on the promotions, Kim Lidbury, Group Director (Property Management) said, ‘I have been delighted to offer the position of Regional Director to three existing employees, all of whom are justly rewarded.  All have consistently demonstrated exceptional dedication, leadership and commitment to their respective teams and the customers we serve.  These promotions reflect our organisation’s commitment to recognising and nurturing talent from within. The fact that George and Karen joined some time ago following acquisitions by LRG is a strong endorsement both of LRG’s capacity to retain employees and of the success of our acquisition and integration strategies.  Natalie joined LRG more recently with a wealth of experience and has been promoted from regional manager to regional director in little over a year.’
