March 27, 2023 PR Officer
Leaders’s Lettings Agents, (part of Leaders Romans Group) launched its new sustainable office in Aylesbury on 23 March, with an event for local clients, local businesses and Leader’s staff.
Leader’s commissioned green office and retail design consultants Jackson Associates to completely refurbish and design the Aylesbury office to their new green principles.

David Wilson, Group COO of Leaders Romans Group (LRG) said, “It was brilliant to welcome so many people to the event. LRG is committed to the enhancement of its nationwide high-street branch network, through our approach of combining our excellent understanding of local markets with our national strength”.
David Wilson, COO of LRG said: “The more the world learns about climate change, the more we realise that we all have a part to play in halting the devastating effects it is having on our environment. Tenants expect more sustainability and responsibility from the property services they use and interact with and as an integral part of the local community in each of our nationwide branch network we want to play our part in delivering the UK’s wider carbon reduction goals”
“Now is the time for the property sector to embrace the next big challenge and step up to help turn the industry green” he added.

At the launch event, attendees discussed the sustainability detail behind the refurbishment and gained advice on making properties more eco-friendly and sustainable, whether as landlords or tenants. They also discussed the longer-term sustainable pledge by LRG to roll out these green principles to branches across the UK, in the company’s commitment to being carbon neutral by 2030.
Shaun Barnett, Regional Lettings Director said: We’re delighted to be re-launching our new sustainable branch in Aylesbury, following our success since acquiring Lenwell’s in February 2021. The branch is much more accessible and central, which means we can serve the local people of Aylesbury better with our continued focus on fostering community spirit”.
The event saw the official unveiling of the branch’s new sustainable fit-out, fully powered by renewable green energy. Low-flow taps save up to 50% of water consumption, and low-VOC paints release less gas than traditional paints. All fixtures and fittings were chosen to be as environmentally friendly as possible, and all wood was sourced from locally produced FSC-certified wood.
Ceiling tiles are manufactured in the UK using bio-soluble mineral wool, perlite, clay and starch. They are durable, 100% recyclable and rated A+. Solar film lines the high-street-facing windows to reflect heat out of the branch and lowers the need for electricity. Every element of the re-fit has been produced locally to Aylesbury or in the UK to reduce transport emissions and to support local businesses.
