Peter Loverdos - Chief Operating Officer
Peter joined the Romans Group in 2008 as Marketing Director, where he developed and executed the marketing strategy, with a particular focus on advancing the company’s digital delivery. He then served as Group Operations Director during the intensive period where Romans more than doubled in size through the successful execution of its organic growth, cold site expansion and buy and build strategies. Upon the merger of the Leaders and Romans businesses, he took on the role of Group Chief Operating Officer.
In order to support the LRG strategy, Peter now predominately focuses on developing and improving the customer offering, product innovation, technology, marketing, IT, procurement and business processes and operations. He works with the different divisions and the Group’s suppliers to review business operations and processes with a specific focus on technological advances designed to streamline and improve the day-to-day running of the three brands and to add value.
Peter has a Bachelor of Economics degree from Rhodes University, South Africa and has previous experience working for global specialist lubricant firm Castrol and in the online retail and publishing sectors.
