September 26, 2017 Matthew Light

The Leaders Romans Group, comprised of leading estate agents Leaders and Romans, has revealed plans for further expansion after completing a double acquisition in Hampshire last week.

It acquired local firms HPM in Hayling Island and Clearmove in Fleet, with the former joining the local Leaders branch, while the latter will become part of the Romans branch network. Both HPM and Clearmove specialise in lettings and pride themselves on delivering excellent customer service that helps landlords and tenants achieve their aims.

Following the completion of the HPM and Clearmove deals last week, the Leaders Romans Group remains determined to secure further acquisitions and continue its expansion plans over the coming months.

Matthew Light, group acquisitions director at the Leaders Romans Group, says: “These new and exciting acquisitions in Hampshire add to our presence in in the county, where we already operate more than 20 Leaders and Romans branches.

“We are thrilled to have added two highly respected businesses to our company, including a number of experienced and knowledgeable members of staff, a portfolio of almost 250 managed properties and many local customers.

“The Leaders Romans Group is actively looking for further acquisitions and is interested in hearing from owners who are thinking of selling their lettings business. Our ambition is to maintain our growth throughout the rest of 2017 and into 2018, continuing to establish our position as one of the property industry’s most trusted and successful lettings specialists.”

HPM was founded in 1997 by Paul and Heather Sandford who have chosen to sell in order to focus on other property matters, while Clearmove was founded in 2006 by Russell Greatbatch who has opted to move on in order to pursue other business interests.
