Leaders Romans Group
(LRG) is proud to support and celebrate its female workforce, revealing on
International Women’s Day that over 60% of employees are women.
Leaders Romans Group employs more than 2,100 staff across
its brands – largely formed of Leaders, Romans, Boyer and recently acquired
companies Dunlop Heywood and Moginie James.
In an industry which has historically been viewed as quite
male-dominated, LRG stands strong on breaking that view, with over 60% being
women and many of the key decision-makers in the company being women too.
Hannah Cooper, Group HR Director, commented: “Ensuring we
celebrate International Women’s Day is so important to us at LRG, as well as
ensuring women are treated equally. I am proud to work for an organisation
where there are so many strong female leaders and supportive male counterparts.”
LRG’s CEO, Peter Kavanagh, said: “With the slogan for
International Women’s Day being ‘Each for Equal’, it’s fantastic to see so many
women employed by LRG, in roles spanning from assistants and executives to
managers and directors.”
Vanessa Foot, Culture and Community Manager, comments: “I am
proud to work for such a forward thinking company which embraces and sees the
importance and benefits of employing women at all levels.”
Having worked in the estate agency world for over 30 years,
Vanessa adds: “For me personally, it is great to see a significant change in
the number of women in property – and more importantly being given the
opportunity to further their careers within the industry.”
