Employee engagement

Our employees are at the heart of everything we do. We conduct an annual survey to gauge employee satisfaction and drive continuous improvement. This has led to year-on-year progress, reflecting our commitment to listening and acting on our team's feedback. Additionally, our governance programme ensures that every new hire and promoted employee undergoes comprehensive training, including unconscious bias and mental health awareness, fostering a more inclusive and supportive workplace.

Award-winning culture

Our culture is built on recognition, support, and internal growth. We celebrate achievements both internally and externally, highlighting the exceptional contributions of our teams. Each month, our executive team works within branches to stay connected with daily operations. Additionally, every six weeks, our CEO, Mike, hosts webinars, providing all staff with the opportunity to ask questions and stay informed.

Our values — developed by our staff — are embedded in everything we do. They guide our actions and decisions, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued. By nurturing a workplace culture that encourages growth and collaboration, we contribute to the overall success of our organisation.

Contributing to causes that matter

We are passionate about supporting the communities where we live and work. Our charity efforts focus on partnering with local community charities, ensuring our contributions make a meaningful difference close to home - reinforcing our commitment to being the local agent that truly gives back. This year, our colleagues have chosen to support the following incredible charities:

  • Sophie’s Legacy and Samuel’s Charity who support local children’s hospital wards, ensuring they have essential equipment and play specialists
  • Audrey’s Charity and Lifeshare who work closely with their communities supporting local people experiencing financial hardship and homelessness
  • ABC Book Club who provide children’s books and design libraries for primary schools, and Don’t Lose Hope who provide free and affordable professional counselling for people aged 4+ in their local community.
